I was going to be quiet about that stupid award show like I do with all the award shows because all the awards show are stupid. But I seriously can’t stand the fandom right now.
First of all, yeah, The wanted won breakout artist. They deserved. They write some songs of their won, their lyrics make a little more sense than “let’s get some”. They care about their fans way more than 1d ever did, and don’t even come with this “but they have less fans” shit like The wanted was some garage band that only their fathers know about. They make a video every single fucking week for two years, they never missed a week. Us directioners just had this kind of attention from the boys when they were forced to do the video diaries on the x-factor. I’m actually glad The wanted won, cause the category was “break out artist”. It was about the best ARTIST, the best musician, the ones who made good music and not about the ones that had more fame and boobs flashing on them. And let’s be honest, One direction are terrible musicians. They have amazing voices and all, but the songs are just… “hey gurl i see u got a boyfriend he treats u well and shit but i loved u first and because of this i deserve you more than this guy that actually had the courage to say his feelings and is making you happy.”
About katycats winning the “best fans”, I laughed at this one. Directioners are flipping the shit and saying it was a stunt, cause they are such an amazing fanbase! Sad that they are so aewsome that they totally forgot to vote to this kind of important award cause they were sending hate to Taylor Swift because of her 5 weeks relationship with Harry. Well done, directioners. Well fucking done, my fandom.
I wish I coudl rewind my life to a point where I wasn’t a fangirling over 1d. I signed up for cheesy bubblegum pop and cute boys singing, and here I am right now. Sigh.
